Home Staging is a technique used as a way of improving and preparing a home so it appeals to a wide range of buyers and can be sold quickly for the highest possible price.

Staging techniques include decluttering (storing all the kids’ toys), rearranging (moving the couch or storing excess furniture), depersonalizing (taking down family pictures) and neutralizing (repainting bold-colored walls).

When viewing a home for sale, buyers want to see a warm, inviting space where they can visualize themselves living in.

By properly preparing a home for resale, sellers can sell faster and take the maximum amount of money away from the transaction. 1.Make an Entrance welcoming- It is the first thing a buyer sees and it should draw them in.

2.Conquer the Clutter- Box it up and store it away

3.Less is More- Space is what buyers are looking for, so box up all the unused items.

4.Float Furniture- Furnish your space by floating, or pulling furniture away from walls. Not only will this make the space more user-friendly, it will open up the room and make it seem larger. Even in small spaces, where every inch is utilized, you can float a piece or two.

5.Light It Up- Brighten the space and make the home sparkle! One of the things that makes staged homes look so warm and welcoming is great lighting.

6. Using Color- Painting is the best way to go to give your home a new, fresh look. You can use accents like pillows, curtain and art to add an extra ’pow’ of color.

7. Rearrange the Art-Placeing well chosen art pieces together and not all over the room gives a perspective of order in the space.
